🚨 Defendants are almost never told these agreements exist.
👉 The very first item listed is the charging documents and probable cause affidavit — records that are already public. That’s right: any of the 340 million Americans can access them… except the Defendant.
💡 And here’s the kicker: the agreements themselves are public records. Anyone can request them.
There is one attorney we know of who does not follow this practice, that attorney informs the client and gives them a choice. We’ll highlight that attorney in a future post.
Spoiler alert (sarcasm): it’s not William Lebrato. He supports these agreements — and often enforces them.
