AFFIDAVIT FOR PROBABLE CAUSE

1. The undersigned swears and affirms, under the penalties for perjury, that he has good cause

to believe that:

On or about the 4th, day of December, 2025 in the County of Allen and in the State of Indiana said Defendant did knowingly commit the crime(s) of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Battery with a Deadly Weapon (Firearm), and Criminal Recklessness

2. The Defendant, Tristan M. Pernell, is described as being: Male/Black DOB: 2/6/01

3. The Affiant, Detective Geraud Bartels 1723F, is an officer of the Fort Wayne Police Department. The Affiant believes and has good cause to believe that the Defendant committed the aforesaid offense(s). The Affiant bases his belief on the fact that on or about Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 9:53pm, Officers of the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the Thunderbowl at REDACTED in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, Officers found that there were three victims that were all suffering from gunshot wounds. The first victim was identified as VICTIM 1 (m/b DOB: REDACTED), who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The second victim, VICTIM 2 (f/b DOB: REDACTED), was struck with gunfire in the right rear shoulder. VICTIM 1 and VICTIM 2 were both inside the bar area where the shooting had originally started.
